The Meerkat
Meerkat also known as suricate is a small mongoose found in Southern Africa. They live for 12-14 years in captivity. These animals are well loved for their humorous personalities and even though they look cute and cuddly they are are lethal snake and scorpion killers, they have a natural immunity to venom. They are one of my favorite animals to paint.
